Field Technology & Data Specialist

Job Description

Title: Field Technology & Data Specialist

Location: Golden, IL

Reports To: ADI Operations Manager

Supervises: 0

Works independently or with minimal supervision 95% of the time.

Overview:

Ag Drainage Incorporated is seeking a motivated individual to support field data collection and mapping efforts. This role combines both fieldwork and office-based responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new technology, and contributing to real-world projects.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Part-time candidates must be available for an initial 4-week full-time training period.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect field data related to drainage system installations
  • Support field operations through data collection, mapping, and system documentation across active project sites.
  • Digitize and organize existing records into a structured database
  • Support ongoing improvements to mapping and data processes

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with internal projects and process improvements
  • Support field teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working both outdoors and in an office setting
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with mapping, GIS, or data collection tools
  • Familiarity with agricultural or construction environments

Pay Range- $ 19.50- $22.50 hr
